GES: Anthology of American Pop Music

A new mini album (LP/DL) by GES (Gesellschaft zur Emanzipation des Samples) comes out in October 2020. Title: Anthology of American Pop Music. Five pop songs are dissected by sampler, stretched, compressed, and re-collaged. In this way, their identity is lost. What remains is a vague concretness: flashes of déjà vu and remote echoes that evoke the orginal.

GES work/travel kit. The kit contains two rubberstamps with extracts from the legal ruling on Metall auf Metall II (copyright dispute, Kraftwerk vs. Moses Pelham).
